New Planning

Well, I am back with an update to my planning.  I still use my everyday carry from my previous post, but I noticed that my day to day planning was not going well.  I could keep track of appointments but, suffering with anxiety and depression as I do, I was forgetting some of the smaller every day things.

This is where my Big Ideas planner is coming in.  I bought it ages ago and believed it was undated and so lost about 12 months of use but, I have ordered a 12 month extension pack (undated), some plastic pages and a home planner extension pack.

I love the thickness of the paper.  It is very good quality and due to the number of stickers that are available from Big Ideas and smaller companies such as candycrystal (whose stickers I adore), you can adapt and decorate to make it your own.

Firstly, here are the stickers and blank pages;

This is where the month starts and is where any important dates are written down before the actual planning begins.

Here is where the complete month is laid out in front of you.  I haven't shown the filled in page due to personal details , but it is lovely to write on and personalise with stickers such as the ones in the photograph below.

And here is what one of the week pages looks like blank

This is how one week turned out.  Again, this picture was taken before I filled in any personal information but it shows what I mean about personalising.

I have a feeling that I am going to do a lot of changing around in how I plan and decorate, depending on my mood, what is happening in the week and the time of year, but this is the basic layout for my planning this week.

I hope you enjoyed this quick preview, I will be back again soon with further journaling times.

All Change

I am still doing my Morning Pages every morning, however the book has changed to a Poundshop spiral notebook.  Unfortunately, I dont have any photos of the one I am using at the moment.

However, I also thought I would change the type of notebook I use for my everyday journal.  I have had this one for ages but think I may have bought it from Paperchase.  I bought it because I love the cover.

It is a very glittery cover that doesn't really show much in any of the photographs I have tried taking and has the normal lined pages.

From my point of view, there are two very important downsides to this book.  Firstly, I love using fountain pens for writing with and the paper in this book is no good for fountain pens.  I found a way round this by using different colour ball point pens on each day and added stickers as I have done previously.

The other bad point is the use of stickers in this journal has also meant I have needed to use washi tape down the middle of most of the pages as the binding keeps breaking meaning a lot of the pages I am on now would otherwise be falling out.  This is a picture of the top view as I was trying to show the poor state the binding is in now but not sure how clear it is.  I also have pages where some are sticking out further than others.
That said, I refuse to give up on the book and am determined to continue using it although at the rate that I am writing at the moment it looks like I have another months worth of space left in it.

I also have moved to an everyday carry.
It is a passport size ZLYC I bought off Amazon.  It was quite cheap to buy and I am very impressed by the quality and how much I have been able to fill it without it causing the cover any problems.
This is a top view of my every day carry from the top.  As you can see, I have really filled it up well.  Some of the books used include, a monthly view diary, to do book, goals list book, and notes book along with a craft file and plastic zipper pouch to store some stickers.

I love this as it is at the moment for every day.  It fits well in my handbag and the pen fits snuggly in the elastic and has four different colours.

Well that is all for today, I have lots more to show and discuss so will be back again soon with further photos of some of the planners I use besides these along with all my empty journals waiting for their turn to be used.
